I´m very fond of the Williard watch of which I own both the vintage and the modern version. The modern version gives the possibility of wearing with no fears in any place: land, sea or pool. I wouldn´t risk a vintage one in those places. Great shots to sh...

Great selection! Absolutely agree everyone needs a diver’s watch. I’m not so sure that everyone needs an alarm but I personally love so much that complication and own several watches I enjoy so much with that feature. The G Shock is a great stealthy watch...

Keeping within a reasonable budget when starting on your collecting journey is definitely something to take into consideration. Four excellent choices even if the MAD 1 could be difficult to obtain at list.

I really like the hands on your datejust. Is it from the 60's? Based on your friend's criteria, I would pick the following from my collection that are easily available and will not burn a big hole in the pocket. A worldtimer.....a complication that is use...

You are right that the VC Patrimony Traditionelle is not easy to excel. A prestigious brand, a classic and classy dress watch and an awesome finished movement ticks all boxes. I´m glad to see that most of the entries agree in filling the chrono category w... 

I try to rotate my watches frequently - I seldom wear the same one two days running. This weeks Wristscan made me think of the beginning of all our journeys - and reconnect with some memories along the way - thanks!

Reverso for classy evenings Breitling for the air and the beach Memovox for travels MUT for anything else I love that they are all rather "under the radar", even this model of Breitling. They are all very easy to wear and only connoisseurs recognise them....  

You can´t go wrong with any of these four watches you share in beautiful pictures. I like the MUT as a high quality stealthy watch. The Reverso is always a classy option which can be worn both with formal or sport attire. Interesting to think on the Momov...
