I wear a Garmin Swim 2, 3-4 times a week to track my marathon swimming progress. 


This watch humbles me to look within for strength and internal motivation by tracking my performance vs the benchmark.

For example, if I want to attempt the English Channel crossing, I would need an average swimming speed of 3.4km per hour to be worthy. I am humbled after the pandemic and cannot do that speed anymore. Now my speed is 3km/h with effort.
