No particular order among these top favorites, but I always feel a little bit "special" whenever these are on my wrist.
I also feel you other members' pain here, deciding on "only" three. How can we choose just three?? Please don't tell my other lovely watches that they didn't make the final cut. They will be hurt imensely.
I think what makes these special to me, over my others, is the way they happened to fall into my hands. They weren't easy catches, but worth the effort.
1) The YG DayDate, while not particulary rare, is my 3rd DayDate. I tried 2 others before, but they just didn't work on my wrist. They didn't create any tingle or excitement when I looked at them. Then, I finally found this one that sang, and still sings to this day, perfectly to me in all its solid YG glory.
2) The Alpine Eagle XPS. Need I say more about this beauty. It was here on this site where someone posted pics of it from W&W 2023. I took one look at it and I immediately sent a message to my AD. "I WANT THIS!" By coincidence, my AD was attending W&W and put in my order fast. AFAIK, it's still not widely available. And it's the perfect AE for me coloriwise, size, and no date window.
3) The FPJourne, as lovely as any watch can be. And what makes this special is the way I was able to (1) make a res at the boutique, (2) discuss which one I wanted, (3) put in my request and (4) wait and (5) wait and (6) wait, until the magical message came that my FPJ beauty had arrived. This process is not the usual way I buy watches, like I buy on the spot. This whole buying experience was really special in every way, just like my Octa Lune.
