Not a Watch you see Everyday!!!!
This is my Accutron Model 214 tuning fork watch, circa 1965. This is the first watch I ever purchased with money I earned and if memory serves me correctly it was $3-400 USD at that time. I was 13 then and wore it through high school until I went to college where it sat for years! About 2 years ago I had this "abused" watch completely restored by a watchmaker who specializes in restoring old Accutrons and it runs as well as it did when new. I do not wear it often but today is one of those days. I hope you enjoy my first purchase!

Hi Art, Well I suppose there is a story, but in many ways the “charms of vintage Rolex”, as you say, are apparent in the picture I posted. Namely the wonderful plexiglass that bends and morphs the dial when viewed at different angles and the creamy butter...
