Does that 1932 version you picture there have a water-tight case that surrounds the watch? I've seen pictures and articles about that (and a Rolex that was "water-proofed" in a similar manner) but I didn't know about the watch with exposed crown etc as you show in your initial post.
So much history and experimentation with this genre of watches.
