i dont know why this model doesnt get much airtime as it is a great shape. perhaps its more suited to a ladies wrist than a gents and we are very short on lady purists. one never knows why some are often seen and others rarely seen. one of lifes mysteries... 

And I like the Michaelangelo better in the smaller sizes - some of UN's designs don't scale well (IMHO) and get overwhelming in the really large watches. Have fun this week, G

i have a similar feeling about the current sizes. our Ludwig perpetual is the perfect size in my opinion, yet they make them bigger and bigger. as for the week, sunday wont be much fun i think. its fathers day in UK and my first year with no children arou...

sadly i had to sell my vintage GS's, but one day i will get another more modern one. i'd like a modern handwind. the finish on these pieces is superb, easily as good as many swiss brands. the Japanese should be very proud of their watchmaking prowess, esp...

Thank you, Nicolas! The box is brown, purchased the watch incl. box and paper from an auction house some years ago. I was under the impression that the blue boxes was before the brown ones?! Best Blomman

To me, the brown box came before the blue one, which started in the early 70ies, my friend. So, the blue may be the correct one for your E 875, while the brown may be the good one for my E 855. Best, my friend. Nicolas

I have 6 JLC’s from the late 60 th and early 70 th with brown boxes. The blue boxes I have are in worse condition and I got separate without watch, so I have always assumed they were older… But when you think of if, the 90 th boxes are blue, so I might be...
