Are you sure that 1. There are only TWO brands who sold the watches to the general public with the movements in them which actually passed observatory chronometer test - SEIKO and GP. May I ask what you mean by sold the watches… do you mean the very watch... 

.. but as far as my research found out, SEIKO and GP is the only brands who sold the ACTUAL MOVEMENT WHICH PASSED THE OBSERVATORY CHRONOMETER TEST to the general public. Not the same spec'd movement but the ACTUAL MOVEMENTS which passed the test and have ... 

No right or wrong. Few things are ever for certain, especiaæly in this watchmaking world. The famous and rare, I gladly concede it, Rolex Kew A's come to mind, from the early 50's, if I am not mistaken. There has also been rare Pateks, Omegas, Peseux 260'...
