I wouldn't have take Hermès (or Bulgari) seriously as watchmakers a few years ago, but both have been knocking it out of the park lately.Reminds me of Chopard's metamorphosis 20+ years ago.

Chopard took a lot longer to make the price point stick and not crater at the residuals than these two 👌🏻👍🏻

Yours was a breathtaking purchasing race! My heart begun beating so fast viewing shot after shot! Can`t imagine how your own heart was beating after each arrival to your collection!! Not easy to choose just one watch among so many sublime timepieces. The ...

I had wanted a world timer for a long time, and I finally got one with this beautiful Tissot reissue. I traded this Heuer back in 2013 (in exchange for an issued Auricoste type 20) and never thought I would see it again. It came up for sale a few weeks ag...

... WT example. I have been very tempted to buy it several times but by one reason or another is still in my wish list. Tissot made a great tribute to the original model here, and it has a small detail that I love: still includes my city Buenos Aires amon... 

I have a soft spot for travel watches I must confess, but never had a world timer previous to this. Maybe I’ll catch the original version from the 50’s one day ? Meanwhile, currently wearing a more classic version of these GMT watches. Best regards ...

. . . after a few years of ownership, then bought it back from the third owner after an absence of several years. How did he know it was the very same SM? By the scratch inflicted crashing against a rock while surfing off of Ventura. 🏄🏻‍♂️

I don't collect stamps simply because I moved close to 20 times in fifteen years, and it would be impossible for me to carry around large books (of any kind, including stamps) from one place to another, I've donated hundreds of books, but I greatly admire...

Like i already told in some posts this last year for me 2026 will be the year of reducing my collection a lot . My focus will be more towards quality and brands i have a strong connection with . To many watches that weren’t used for months or even years 🫣...

Your Benrus sounds fascinating and of course wont ask of its history. Military watches always fascinate me, and also like your Elliot Brown which looks very cool and practical in all locations.

The Elliot Brown is a watch that few people outside the military are aware of.

I’m going in for cataract surgery this week and my every move is under tight security / scrutiny “for my own safety” and also because the garage is still full of Lotuses.
