Its a screwdown crown, screwdown very thick plexi, monocoque case.
I think i sent you some details last year when i did the post. Jenny got the patent, but had no manufacturing facility so O&W made them for Jenny, Philip and themselves.
There were several later patents. Mine only has the 1963 patent on it dating it to first year of manufacture, 1964, but others have later patents as well, a good way of dating them.
Heres the instructions for plexi change(if you can find one)

This is not an original just a photo. You have to contact the book owner who will write you a letter of confirmation. The book stays with him. The conquistador is not MN. but Doxa was used a lot in MN thanks to the popularity of Cousteau. a+ Bill
