I love this shot (and watch), Filip: hand held, low light at dusk while driving one handed at 90 (KPH not MPH I hope). Degree of difficulty 7.5. Next week I want to see the same thing while on a Ducati. Andrew

Hi Dan, Speedy's on straps are really growing on me. Mine is on a bracelet, which is great in the hot weather, but I like your look, set off nicely by the leather couch. What model/year is your Speedy? Andrew

...the Speedy is a watch that longs to be worn on a strap! I purchased mine early 2009, it's a watch that I've loved for a long time, even more so now. The strap is 'vintage' croc, very dark brown with bronze accents, I think it works well! Best, Dan

thats what i do. i have a decent dark brown croc for my 57 replica as well as the original bracelet then just change them when i feel like it. best Graham

Hi Graham, Actually, no, I have never tried. If it's that easy, I probably should. Any tips on removing the bracelet? I assume I need to get some 20mm spring bars and that's all? Andrew

Andrew, you dont need new spring bars. all you really need is a small implement/flat screwdriver to put into the underside of the bracelet end piece and use it to depress the spring bar a bit until it pops out of the hole. in a perfect world a pair of poi...

Nice background and use of reflections to show the shape of the crystal, without distracting from the details of the face too much. I have terrible difficulty mastering reflections. Well done. Andrew

I normally use a DSLR with a 100mm macro lens and this setup, for sure, does not work for wrist pictures. Recently I got a P&S Canon G11 and I'm starting on this type of pictures. Cheers and thanks, Nilo

We need a watch photography 101 series on HoMe with the best photographers sharing their secrets. I get better results with wristshots than static posed shots. I have said before, also, that I like the 'life' that a wristshot brings to a watch, so I guess...

i only committed to it as it was #99, but i'm happy with it. this years model which isnt in production yet has a 2824 inside, but the dial is all black with only lume spots and lume around the edge of the hands. it will be far more phantom that this one s...

A perfect 'dress' chronograph, Geo. It is partly the black & white dial that makes it 'pop', but the legibility, design and hands are all just beautiful. A very special piece in the Cartier range. Thanks for sharing it here. Andrew

i think it would look pretty good with a NATO. as it happens i have a 24mm black ZULU, but the bracelet is so hard to fit i wont be changing it today. it also comes with a leather strap and a very high quality rubber item. all included in the purchase pri...

i used to have a soft spot for Breitlings and miss them. my Cosmonaute was a handwind from 66. i prefer your navitimer chrono-matic re edition model. i also have a soft spot for 24 hour dials with 12 on top preferred if possible. i dont know if you've see...
