The theme of the WS of the 25th of June will be ‘Revenge shopping’
I suppose the majority of us are slowly getting jaded with Covid and while I hope that all of you are healthy, this is also the time where in most places restrictions are being eased (quite the opposite here), so get togethers, watch shop visits, holidays, etc. are on the cards again. All of which might mean new watches.
The luxury industry is hoping for revenge shopping - namely that consumers will try and make up for all the retail deprivation of the past 15 months in a jiffy. Not quite sure I buy that but anyhow…
The theme for the week is the aforementioned ‘revenge shopping’. So in essence if you have bought a watch since Corona has started, those are the pieces I would like to see. If you are still contemplating, the piece you might want to go for after Corona is the one to show. If on the other hand you have transcended the lure of the new, the watch that you wore most during the last months is an excellent substitute that can be posted.

They were eased for almost a year but with the Delta mutation the health system is struggling again. Unfortunately many people still don’t want to get vaccinated, which makes it worse of course. And while Sputnik is not as effective in terms of preventing...
