Well, it has not been so many years

since I took on my second "job". About five to be precise.

I would rather call Jocke the expert for such a comparison. You may remember his Sport Evo / Yachtmaster comparison. (Ok, the Yachtmaster is not a Sub and only water resistant to 10 bar but I think it may be closer related in style to the Sport Evo than a Submariner)

Indeed I never had a Submariner in my hands, even if I like it from pictures and for being the epitome of a diver. But somehow I was never really tempted to get one. Maybe that has something to do with the many people I met (in Germany) who wore a Sub and new nothing about watches except that a Rolex was the most exclusive and expensive watch money could buy? For me they are well made and solid watches but - just my two cents and no insult intended to anyone - nothing special (maybe excluding an Explorer I for its style or a Milgauss black/green for its fancyness) At least certainly not as special as a G.O.

Have a great weekend,
Martin
