Was wondering what the foot photo was in reference to!

For our Body and Soul theme... I give you the humble Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. I have been coveting the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso ever since I was a teenager. Although the first watch I ever bought for myself after a year or two of working was a Patek Phil...

And I really enjoy my first watch too - my Patek Philippe. But I could never get the Reverso out of my mind. One day I had the opportunity to acquire one and so I finally did.

I was also thinking to pick my La Tradition, but as a body watch, as it is quite a technical looking watch, hence masculine. But you are right: a La Tradition is a superb soul watch. Your 5116R has got good wrist presence, no doubt. Nice entries, dear ter...

Well, this was a contemp dream for me.. true Body watch, GADA type ( Go Anywhere, Do Anything).. Another Body type, a bit fancy - from casual to dressing up And this GMT 6542 ( from IV 1958 !) came along after a long hunt.. real Soul -type for me.. Finall...  

A collectors dream as is your GMT 6542. I also agree with you about the Aquanaut, a sublime watch.

These two have both body and soul but the second one is a bit fragile, especially the glass that often refuses to stay in place... Great theme by the way! ...  

Being so fragile it makes it even a "psyche watch", connecting body and soul! Nicely played, dear Mary Anny 👍.

. . . has a replacement crystal . . . . . . that was cemented in place by the watchmaker that serviced it last. I'm not suggesting cementing as a fix because that would make future replacements more difficult, but it's an option for less valuable watches....
