I understand why ...

 

they are doing this and as a matter of fact they are certainly not the only one in the business using this kind of trick to sell a few watches more but at the end the customer feels a bit cheated on .... you pay a surplus for a watch that looses a lot of value IMO once they start creating lookalikes with just minor changes. It's one of the reasons why I stop buying these LE's or buy them only with a big reduction (which in some cases is not hard as a result of what i stated above). But still I would find it more honnest to just not put a LE on a model and let the buyer decide if it is worth the price asked for wink . Nonetheless like I said it's a goodlooking sportwatch ! here's a pic of my own limited edition "look" with a sporty red strap on it smile

One of the more silent additions at Baselworld was the Zenith El Primero Skeleton . Silent because it did not come with the fanfare of a press release and was not featured in their PR material. This notwithstanding, I think that this watch is an immensely...

The "inverted" openwork date wheel is clever and counter to what we've seen from the other LVMH brands. Very well executed IMO. Personally, I actually like the overlapping subdials though I wish they had more depth, a la Heuer 01 with its sloping rings on...

I'm a fan of cleverly skeletonized watches. Which is why I tend to like this Zenith, too. First thought was about the skeletonized date ring. Is it that LVMH will make it the identification mark of their brands family like you would find similar switches ...

Magnus, Thanks for the report of an "undiscovered country" with this PuristS-named Zenith watch: El Primero Sport Skeleton Nature abhors a vacuum so that name will do as well as any other. Viewing this watch for the first time in your report, I was filled...

I have not seen this very before, ever, and I really, really love those subdials. Those in the colours of the Sport version, and the watch would be perfect! Thanks a lot for sharing, Magnus

till so far my "so called" limited edition Lightweight that has a lookalike now, I think Zenith entered my limited edition zone of buying them now, not that i don't like this model but if they start copying their LE's into a standard model and you do this...

I would clearly say that these are two different watches (just with a similar dial): different case shape different pushers different diameter different materials Just an (almost? Difficult to judge from the pictures!) equal dial does in my book not quali...
