Tropical Revival: yes or no?
Zenith has released a new version of the Chronomaster Revival El Primero: ref. A384.
It features a “chocolate panda” dial drawing inspiration from naturally aged “tropical” dials — “whose warm brown tones emerged over decades of exposure to sunlight”, says Zenith.

The aged, tropical theme is achieved through:
- A softly grained off-white base dial with contrasting faded brown accents in the subdials and tachymeter scale.
- Old Radium Super-LumiNova on the applied markers and handset.

The steel
case measures
37 x
12.6 x
47 mm and features the iconic Gay Frères-inspired
ladder-style bracelet faithful to the 1969 original.

So, does this “artificial” tropical Revival appeal to you?
Thanks for looking.
