It's a pity that the 118.021 is no longer made. I hope Lange will start the Cabaret series back up again with a WG or Platinum Moonphase edition next year, but keep it the same size. I noticed that when Lange enlarged the case size of the "Cabaret Tourbillon," the date suddenly looked too small and the dial unattractive. Now...a "Cabaret Lumen" would absolutely be something to die for!
I never cover the toothpick and have never had a problem...

Toothpicks are quite soft, so you should be fine. And I love that you purchased a yellow gold watch with a really nice brown strap. That Cabaret is a classic, killer combo -- really beautiful. And from the looks of your 9th and 10th photos -- the "money shots" -- you paid cash for it!
And your pictures are magnificent!!! I loved the post and wish you happiness wearing it. Your Cabaret is stunning. Congrats and ENJOY! This message has been edited by BABKA on 2015-11-12 22:04:58
rectangular watch, with a display that is supremely well-proportioned and a dial that conveys substantial information and yet remains totally uncluttered.
