it will make a great companion to my 5054G.
The Lange measures 37.5mm in diameter and 9.5mm thickness, whereas the normal version measures 35.9mm.
The Patek 5054G is a bit smaller which measures 35.5mm in diameter and 10mm thickness.
Here are some comparison picture of my new Lange 1815 up/down Walter Lange LE and my 5054G. Which one you guys like more?

And thats a great pair of watches....thanks for the photos. Both watches have very clean dial...they look best in white i guess

.....with that as well.
Hello, Busoni,
it's interesting you ask this question - just looking through the results of a simple search in our forum, the history of this specific problem seems to be pretty balanced. I.e. there are some repeated reports of issues, but perhaps as many claimng theirs always ran fine. At the time I asked some watchmakers frequently working on this caliber - and they were very surprised when I asked about this specisif occurence. The ususal response was "...of course this is an extra flat and thus to some extend "delicate" movement - but if everything is set up correctly it's running very good and reliable....". PP uses it for many complications, some requiring more torque than a moonphase and power reserve/date only.
Even more interesting is the fact that I didn't hear from similar problems for quite some time now - surprising considered how much "in the focus" the 3712 and more recent 5712 are.
Best regards
Suitbert
..... and a surprise for me how well they go along with each other.
I'd never have thought of that combination making such a balanced pair.
Best regards
Suitbert

Hi.
Congrats!its such an awesome piece to collect!
In my view, its unfair to compare with 5054G but its appropriate to put it side by side for admiration in a series of collection.
Both are great watch!Wear it and keep them in very best of everything!
