Guten abend folks,
Just felt like sharing. For those who own it, and those who do not, what are your thoughts when you lay your eyes on such a face? For me, I see the " Perfect Marine Chronometer for the Wrist". The one and only, the King.

It's not an easy one to really capture the enamal portion!

this is my favorite Lange, bar none. And your pictures do it justice ... glad that you still appear to be enjoying it greatly.

How can i ever be parted from my King?
I may continue to buy other watches, but like i said way back in 2009 when I 1st received it, i cannot foresee that even in 20 years there will be another watch to surpass this one.
Danke und mit freundlichen Gruessen!
Stephen
Thank you!
As always!

The DS doesn't even know what blew past ;-)

You should consider getting one if that thought never crossed your mind prior.
Same name and a performance to boost!

Thank you for sharing. I absolutely love the three piece enamel dial. Is it true that Lange is unlikely to do a similar dial for some time given the complications with manufacturing this dial? If so, what a shame, but great for you!
Nabil
Yes, from what i'v heard Lange may NOT even do an enamel dial watch ever again, although who really knows for sure?
But i'd like to see them achieve a notch up even more, as my dial had to be replaced 3 times already since purchase due to unsatisfactory results.
Still, they tell me this thing is impossible to achieve like the quality of times gone by due to different laws, ( especially with regards to the ingredients used that are permissable) therefore i have to accept the current "standard" as is.
Either way, this is my piece, so if it has it's flaws, then well it's just like me, uniquely flawed!

Glad you enjoyed that view, and thanks!

P.S. Here's one more just for you! Enjoy!

How do you know I'm a big sucker for enamel cut-outs like these???
Wow, I almost fainted in front of my computer! Thanks Stephen!! Are you wearing that for Friday?
Always knowing before it happens.
Heheh!
Well unfortunately not, on my wrist today is another giant, the Panerai 341!
Have a great Oz wintry weekend my mate!

Hey Mark!
Where have YOU been?! It's you who have been way too quiet!
How are things? And Josh is alright?
I'm still coping to life here in Indonesia, but yes things have been calm.
Thank you for the kind words!
