Official opening of the A Lange & Sohne Espace at Watches of Switzerland

A. Lange & Söhne now also available “Down Under”

The official opening of A Lange & Sohne Espace at Watches of Switzerland 294 Collins Street, Melbourne was on April 12 2013 , followed by dinner at Vue de Monde.

Daniel Rogger , International Sales director , Joanna Lange , Senior Training Consultant and Michelle Chen, Country Manager attended from A Lange & Sohne .

I was not sure who I would see on the night but I was very pleased to see many purists that night . It was a great evening of fine food , wines and conversation with watch enthusiasts. Viewing the Lange watches and having the opportunity to talk to Joanna and Michelle about A Lange & Sohne Lange and the watches made a great evening.

Watches of Switzerland in Melbourne is the first point of sale in Australia and will be a destination for A Lange & Sohne enthusiasts.

Thank You to A Lange & Sohne and Eric van de Griend, executive Chairman of Watches of Switzerland for invite.

If you have the right Lange tools, I am sure you can do your own servicing of your Langes. Kudos to you , a certified A. Lange fan and ambassador. I hope to meet you too.

I have 2 official Ambassador certificates and one Connoisseur Certificate from Lange!

I am especially proud of the Connoisseur one as it came with a balance cock that had my initials engraved on it!

I'm not so sure about the reparation part though, better just leave that to the Meisters in Glashutte!

It's wonderful when there's this happy collision of a superbly hosted event, engaging company and wonderful timepieces to dazzle the eyes !!

Watches of Switzerland has staked a claim to being Australia's finest destination for colectors - the van der Griend's were most gracious hosts

What was your favourite Dreamer, the RL Tourbillon sure caught some attention, as did the Zeitwerk Striking Time, or the Dato ??

Mirador. The chronographs are my favourites and the Zeitwerk ( not the striking time ). I have a preference of the previous version of the 1815 over the new version. I also favour the previous version of the Datograph ( the dial layout ) but will be very happy with the new Datograph with longer power reserve.
