If The anniversary was up against the Lange 1815 mp homage edition, then its a different story.. Tat mp wull inch out the anniversary

Funny, for me the Platinum E Lange is muuuch nicer, dial and backside!

If one, only ONE allowed, I guess I'd go for the 1815 Emil Lange MP,
maybe because of poetry in an a bit unusual watch.
Hmmmh.. Although on the other hand, the Anniversary would be
my first enamelled dial, and as it's so classic !..
- much better in fact, one might save some funds, over let's say 2 years
and then try to get both, as they are so different..
- but further to this also, there would be at least 1-2 JLCs,
on my wish-list, it would have to compete with.
- Well, I'll stay with my choice..
As it's a pretty hypothetical one

I own the Anniversary, the Emil never appear to me
for moonphase, I will pick the Lange 1 moonphase Japan boutique edition or the new Pt Lange 1 moonphase
Anniversary with the nice red XII. Favorite traditional Lange.
I just can't get past the big dipper on the moon phase. I have this idea that celestial bodies should move, and always having a big dipper and some star shaped indices that don't move, I'm sure I would prefer it with only the moon. And this watch has so much beauty, I would love it without the star decorations.

I would cast one vote for each! So different, but my favorite two dials among all Lange watches and the most "romantic" pieces in the collection in my opinion. That said, getting an 1815 MP was a higher priority for me and I obtained mine several years before I added an Anniversary. Love them both, but I guess if I had absolutely had to choose, it would be the 1815 Moon.
