As for next year: a Reverso is at the top of the list; but with so many wonderful ones from which to choose, I'm not sure what to pick. I'd also like to replace my long-gone Datograph, although I am unsure about which metal and which model.
I have already paid for one that will be delivered in February; and I have a deposit on another that I will pick up in March. These two, together with one or both of the above will make for a fantastic 2016-which, by the way, I hope you have, Doctor, as well as everyone else here on PuristSPro.

I sincerely hope I don't buy any more watches in 2016 (famous last words, anyone?).
But in keeping with the spirit of this thread, here are some that have crossed my mind in the recent past:
JLC Master Ultra-thin Reserve de Marche in platinum
GP 1966 enamel dial in white gold.
I've also been toying with the idea of a rectangular watch, possibly a Reverso grande taille or a Tank Louis Cartier.
But as I said, I sincerely hope I don't get any of these in 2016.
And the watch for me this weekend (my younger brother's in town for a visit):

I found one of the three on my list . . .
. . . and the asking price is right. The major problem is that it's overseas, which makes me a bit wary; I'll need to do a fair amount of research to pull this one off.
