Personally, not a fan of the band he was most closely associated with. Their music, yes, to a degree, but not the band itself. Norwegian Wood, Here Comes the Sun, and You've Got to Hide Your Love Away were all gorgeously recorded, lush sounding masterpieces. What's more impressive is how Martin was able to put Jimmy Webb's imprimatur on a song Webb wrote that others covered to wide acclaim.

I am not a big fan of the Fab Four's earlier works. Personally, I think they got interesting starting with Rubber Soul. Revolver happens to be my favorite album and I think it's way better than the highly overrated Sgt Pepper..wearing my Speedy I got from St Thomas!
People have varied opinons about the Beatles musically . . .
. . . but I'll bet almost all of us admire Speedmasters.

not a big fan either, though they do deserve their place in music history. I also think that some of their later works are much better than the early hyped albums.
Anyways, here is my Friday watch, the GP Sea Hawk II in Titanium. Wasn't there something about a submarine….

Until tomorrow, I have been enyoying my new GP arrival :
Like its "4 dials" changing color & translucency,
accentuating different parts, hues & structures,
(eg: Big Date, the Geosphere with Latitudes & Longitudes etc)..
Traveller Gde Date, Moon, GMT with Sapphire dial
And as of Sunday or Monday I'll switch to my other
more recent arrival, I really am happy about:

CK 2914 - 2 (1958/59) : a piece to love
