I am big fan of F1 but more a drivers fanboy then a team fan
So Max is my fav driver at this moment but after visiting McLaren last year and Ferrari this year i think McLaren is a much better organized team and will win both championships this year . Hope to visit Mercedes next year when possible

When it comes to racing my team . . .
. . . is Penske.
Sports Illustrated has a Sportsman of the Year award. In 1972 I sent a letter to SI nominating Mark Donohue. They published it; I found out when a classmate congratulated me when he received his subscription copy.

Probably one of the hardest themes for me 😊🤷🏻♂️
I do not remember ever consistently supporting a team in any sport and I cannot really say why 🤷🏻♂️ My grandfather was rooting for me to become a professional football player, a dream that died for him around the time I was two (showed no inclination in that direction).
The strap doesn’t match the toaster that our son wanted for his birthday and I did not have the time or energy to set up the shot properly, either.
And here with my Saturday morning purchase, a book on a car I never owned but had a lot of fun with the handful of times I drove one.
The only sport that I consistently followed for a while (as a child, though) was downhill skiing, so not exactly a team sport.
Used to like motor racing but again no attachment to a team. So the best I can do for you is to choose one my kids seem to have taken a liking to, namely the football club from my hometown 😊

The old Zastavas have the characteristics of old Fiats - you can rev them till the valves poke out of the bonnet and only then change gears 😁 And most didn’t have a rev limiter, so with a long enough downhill section they reach much higher speeds than intended 😁 Of course if you do that in one where only the handbrake still has some functionality, it adds to the excitement 😂 First hand experience 😉

Mark Donohue drove for Porsche during his career and was an exceptional driver.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Ferrari has a particular aura around it. It’s difficult to pin down exactly what the magic is but the Italian passion for building beautiful racing cars and winning races is exceptional. Traditionally, if you work for the team it wasn’t the best paid job in the pit lane, the honour was sufficient !
I won’t go through the incredible race history of Ferrari F1 team but I look back fondly on my memories of the races and the people at Maranello when Michael Schumacher.joined the team, starting a legendary era for the team. The Rolex Daytona was my watch of choice for many of the races.
Fernando almost became world champion in 2010 but lost the title by just 4 points. It was an exciting season.
When it comes to endurance racing Porsche have been been incredibly successful, proving that if you want to win, first you have to finish the race.
Mark Donohue drove for Porsche during his career and was an exceptional driver.
A new era is unfolding at Ferrari and it’s sure to be typical Italian drama 😎

Both Ferrari and Porsche being truly storied brands in that respect. Great shots and watch pairings there. As for Fernando being faster than you, had the privilege of being driven by two F1 drivers and they are indeed a different breed. As was Ari Vatanen, the rallying god 😊🤪
Not an easy task …
Given the time this weekend, I would have loved the opportunity to say so much more about the past and particularly the Group B era of rallying.

Ari was the only one I have been driven by but they are all amazing drivers. And it was an era I sadly didn’t get to experience live first time around 🤷🏻♂️
