Markers change from black (day) to green  (nite) at 6 and back again 12 hours later.    Similar to the 24 hour Airflight where the hours jump from 1-12 to 13-24 at 1pm.     But I really  love the clean dial and shape of the markers.    The display is just a bonus.

I had no idea, a mechanical watch was equipped with this special feature. I guess it is no horological marvel like minute repetition or a perpetual calendar, but you first must have the inspiration for this "complication".

Luminescence is long faded, I am afraid.   Only green remains.

And I really like the design of the watch – the drop shaped indexes and sharp hands go very well together!
