Are aftermarket strap for the Octo Solotempo 101964 / Octo Finissimo SS 103297 / Octo  Finissimo Titanium 102713 interchangeable? Wondered this for a long while...

Will this actually fit the SS models?

I'd say the answer is pretty obvious.  But yes, the manufacturer may say it'll fit - and it might even fit - but it may not look good.  If you notice, every Octo strap has a portion that sticks out at the left and right ends.  Get a picture of just the strap of a watch, and you'll see this isn't the case with your rubber straps.  Look closely at your watch.  The pictured strap wouldn't work.  And if it did, there'd be four square holes on the corners of the watch (where the portions that stick out would normally go).  So I would say no. Presuming the photo you gave is accurate.  It doesn't work.  Welcome to WPS!  

It did not fit! A waste of $25, but you live and you learn. At least I got an extra buckle and several 30mm spring bars out of it, which I couldn't find otherwise, 

Regular straight end straps will not fit: the straps for Finissimo have notches at the lug ends. I have seen a metal adapters which connect to the watch lugs and allow use of the regular straps. I never saw this adapters mounted on the watch in person, and not sure how good the entire setup looks

Seen these online before but don't think I would feel comfortable putting them anywhere near my watch. The finish and material seems very questionable.

I have looked online everywhere and wanted a rubber strap since I got this watch - 103297, only ever seen one company making aftermarket straps but not even sure those would fit - Does anyone make one off rubber custom straps? Unless you carve it out of a different strap, OR you could make a mold and mold yourself one but that's so much work and the tensile strength would be questionable. I have modified a few but just by notching ends and so forth. Nothing anywhere near 30mm though! Rubber straps are "a good thing" until they break -- as at least 3 of mine have!
