The "batmobile" will now be the "snowmobile"

I always wanted a white Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale instead of a black one, so I decided to get the car wrapped. 

Here are first day pictures.  The car wrapping should be finished by end of the week.

how it will respond to temperature swings? Or it's just like a clear mask kind of thing?

You can get the wrap in practically every color you want. You can even get a brushed metallic finish or one that looks like carbon fiber. And you can get it in different finishes too - glossy, satin, or matte finish.
You can turn your car into whatever your imagination desires And once you get tired of the color, you can get it unwrapped and rewrap it to something else.
Re: about the temperature swings, I don't know. It's not a factor here in CA.

Some people are completely wrapping their cars in clear, thinking it will protect the paint.  

Car is almost done being wrapped on Day 2. A little more work and then the door handles, side mirrors, emblems, etc. will be put back on.

Will you also make some change to your car's interior ?

I've heard about this method several years ago when we started seeing the "mat" painting on cars.

But I never thought of using it on a more regular basis to change of color when we feel like it.

It would be interesting to know how long it remains nice.

Can we do it with any color or just Mat finish ones?

A white car is nice to drive.

Matte & satin seem to be the most popular finishes since glossy is the standard paint and people who wrap usually want something more different than the standard glossy look.
My car friends say the wrap should last 3 years or so if you maintain it. But if you get a dent on your car, the wrap will tear so you'll have to get that section re-wrapped otherwise you'll see the original paint.

Day 3 of car wrapping - almost done! Carbon fiber side mirrors and door handles have been put back on as well as the rear lights. A couple more things left to reinstall such as the trident emblems.

A cool car made even cooler, congrats on this project Anthony, please take care of your baby !
Take some pictures with a nice background, it will even look better i assure.

I'd like to have my whole car wrapped in just clear plastic wrap.  This way it'd be easier to clean.

The car is very white in the sunlight and looks even better than the pictures.  The satin white and red combo with all the standard black parts of the car looks smoking hot!

I'm so glad I made this choice!

do they only wrap the outside parts of the car ? or the inside like trunk and doors also ?? or does that part still shows the Original color ?

but you will have to pay a lot of money for that because of the labor involved of disassembling the door, trunk, etc. That's why most people just wrap the outside of the car. For me, since my car is originally black colored, the wrap looks seamless when I open the door because you see black where the door jam and inside of the door. If my car were orange, it wouldn't look seamless.  Black is the universal color.

Otherwise, if you want it so you don't see the original paint when you open the door, you can always pay more to have the car wrapped on the inside of the car but not all way where you have to disassemble door hinges.
