New Motor
Mioved a couple bikes out and picked up this 24' Moto Guzzi V7 Special. It's an 850 but that's ok. I've another bike for DX work. My riding style has changed (older) so wanted something lighter to blast around in the mountains with. A nice sporting standard. Just got it ran in and serviced. Third Guzzi.

I totally love the old school aesthetic, especially the analog dials, wire wheels, exhaust and rounded lights.... Keep it safely garaged, vehicle thefts have spiked yet again in recent months, my new bike got stolen from Santa Monica less than a month ago.... 😎👍
Tragically so my friend....
Just a few weeks after I had posted that last picture from my alleyway.... 😞 The police arrived before the criminals even rode/drove off, but they were incapable of catching up to them.... Fortunately, the insurance company coverage was good enough so that over 90% of my cost will be covered. I am working with the local dealer to secure another one, but am definitely not keeping any motorcycle parked outside overnight any longer!!....

Myself I am riding a 1050 V-Strom (90° V2 too, but wrong orientation) but my wife is riding a V85TT which is such a beautiful and friendly bike.

Mine is the same only a little older. It doesn't have the stainless steel brace/support in front of the heads. I'm guessing this is to save the heads in the event you drop it? I seem to remember the 850 California from the same period had them though.

I have been itching for a guzzi or an old flat twin as I no longer care about performance and not sure my body could take it any more. Ride safely!
That's a very cool bike! Recently I was looking at a similar one. And around 1979 I was looking at a 750 Le Mans and liked it a lot too! I also have old syndrome. Good performance, heritage,
comfort and style with character is a winning combination.
