After years of becoming an AP-holic.. I decided to shift to something iconic and classy. Found this bleuty by accident, 2008 piece with no scratches at all.. Previous owner had soo many watches that this bleuty was always kept in the vault!

It's gold you shifted to Patek.
It's a very good chrono. Better looking than the other brands. It's also a chic and sexy watch.

I prefer Vacheron Constantain over Patek, cause Vacheron have more heritage and history .But,I have to admit that the resale value of Patek is higher.So,enjoy it`s a beautiful watch. Patek is a brand we come toward on the long run
but when you discover it (and study it a little more), your often discover how wonderful and subtle these pieces are.
The Nautilus, thought very different from the rest of the collection, is certainly as extraordinary, especially when we observe the dial coating and the movement's decoration in that segment which make it the most interesting one IMHO.
Congratulations for this purchase, it is an excellent choice.

The best thing for watches is to read about things to pay attention to but mostly to go and the the watches by yourself in the details.
You'll be able to compare and to see what you like an dwhat you don't and hence make your own opinion

I love 5980.. I own three (3) 5980.. 5980/1A white dial and blue dial and the 1R..
Out of the three I find the 1R I wear the most.
