After the summer holidays I can now re-descover some of the watches in my collection.

I am still in love with my Patek Philippe Gondolo 5124G-011!
The dial color is really special. Patek calls it "blue roi" in the official warranty and it is indeed a very royal blue 
The shape of the watch is pretty unique. A very original case and a square movement for a perfect fit.
Really happy with this watch. Obviously it is considered a more "entry level" patek but to me is really special and understated.
Blue dials might be part of the fashion now but in this case I think that Patek created something eternal. I should certainly give to this beauty more wrist time ... pure perfection to me.

Late comment...fast forward almost 6 years! I mine on yesterday and I love the simplicity of it. Very comfy on the wrist too compared to my Rolex Hulk. Love the contrast to sports watches.

well you know the issue Blomman with too many watches...
one doesn't fall out of love but doesn't get a lot of wrist time so perhaps this is why the watch might feel not so loved if not worn regularly
Nothing "entry level" about it...
It's a beautiful watch, and the rectangular movement shaped and sized to the case is far from entry level IMO. Unlike some of their other offerings, with recycled smaller movements in larger cases, this one's a Patek done right! Congratulations and many more years of good health together!

Case proportion is unique too
This rectangular piece is also different from the Tanks and Reversos, being meatier and looking a little more 'squarish' than traditional Cintree-like dimensions.
