I'm hoping to meet some more collectors. Taking my other half to the PP museum and a couple of the auction houses cocktail parties. Should be a watch filled fun weekend. Just need to remember not to drink too much before the auctions.

Love that expression - or He who hesitates is lost - but then there's When in doubt pass. I apply all depending on the circumstance.
Vintage Rolex - for sure when in doubt pass. If I love, love a vintage Patek or Rolex and am only in doubt about price, I will buy it. My BIG concern is buying something incorrect not overpaying a bit for something fantastic. Modern Patek L/E more prone to buy even if haven't seen it in person if pix look great - otherwise "he who hesitates is lost"!
