So, what if more traditional timepieces were made to appear more casual and young?A simple solution would be to start with the choice of strap. Thought I’d share a recent strap combo on a more conservatively dressy piece I am thoroughly fond of.
Works really well to my eyes.... far less dressed up and formal. Now it is a piece with a relaxed feel yet far from plain.... Patek really succeeded with the 5131 series in my opinion. All metal iterations have different appeals and strengths. With this grained calf strap the J works well in my life, someone who almost never wear dress shirts or suits...
