Hello. I wanted to share this Patek Philippe 6000 recent story. Bought it second hand in New York, took it back to London, had it serviced at Patek Philippe salon which took five months….but I’m so pleased with its new life and outlook, brand new Patek blue strap, polished gold case and clasp. Completely renewed mechanism, new crown. Feels lovely.
Glad that Patek serviced this superb Calatrava to your full satisfaction...and this blue alligator is indeed a real beauty! Time to enjoy thoroughly! ;-)
Thanks Fab, it was a gamble choosing this blue from the palette I was given. And definitely was relieved and pleased when I collected it five months after! Thanks
I'm happy that you're happy! I'm one of the few fans of the 6000!

I find the 6000 to be very cool! It's atypical. But still cool! This was going to be my first Patek Philippe, until somehow I changed my mind at the last minute and got a sports watch instead. But the 6000G is still one of my favorites!
Out of curiosity who told you that? Patek employees or collectors? Yes it’s very different to other Patek references that are not classical. I like the slight sporty and speedometer instrument aspect, as well as the rare way of displaying date, with a red moon !
Thanks! Yes it is unique in Patek I think, with its slight sporty feel emulating a classic sports car dial. It’s date highlighted by the red moon is also unique. Loved it when I was looking for a first Calatrava. Thanks Gatsby
