Hang on!! You can’t just buy a SS PP Buckle. You have to be a trusted PP customer and buy a PP strap.
Thinking about this combo for the 5960A.
1)PP textile strap from the 5470P and (It can be ordered to fit the 21mm on the 5960A)
2)SS Calatrava buckle from 5212A.
What do you think?

And strap from this budget watch. PS That must be the first textile strap ever made for a Patek.
There is also the option to order a PP SS Deployment clasp, but I am going to go for the simpler pin buckle for the 5960A I think.

I had no problem buying a steel pin buckle for my 5960A, though! Up until a few years ago, the only buckle available was the one for 5565A.

To fit the PP buckle. All PP straps end in 16 cm.

Do not forget that the 5960 A case has notches cut out between the lugs where the strap attaches. They are covered by the endlinks for the bracelet but quite visible with a strap, but I guess you knew this already. 

People say it works fine. I think it will cost €400 probably but waiting for the pricing from the AD.

Do you have a picture? I never noticed them when I saw it on collector friends.

It's at an angle where nobody else is going to notice it, it's only the wearer who sees the notch. Here's an even worse offender, the current Rolex Explorer (124270):

This one is a very dark blue and appears almost black. And you you’re right it should be black.

Is it black or blue? It appears black but thought the 5740P strap is blue.

It’s just a super dark blue. But I’m looking to see if they can make it black.
