Patek Philippe

I stopped by my AD this weekend and saw a very surprising item in the display case!  A very lucky collector (not me!) managed to get the allocation for the 995/135G "Eagle" - King of the sky pocket watch from the Tokyo Grand Exhibition in 2023.  It was fun to get to see it one more time before it inevitably disappears into a private collection. With “A Porchet” as the signature, this unique piece is very collectible !

From photos, and seeing it from a distance at the exhibition, I had found it a bit difficult to distinguish the details of the tree and the leaves. With a closer look, the light does give more three dimensionality to the image and the details really come into view. My close-up photo does a better job of capturing this, but it is still not doing a great job of capturing what it truly looks like in person.
I also found the peach color to a lot more interesting in person than it appears in photos. It feels pretty unique as I don't recall seeing this shade of color used much before, and certainly not in the volume seen on the caseback or dial of this piece.

Yea, that is correct. I'm certain prices vary for each piece depending on its details, but I rarely see definitive pricing information on Rare Handcraft pocket watches listed so it was interesting to note. Honestly, I would have guessed a higher price and I am always surprised that items from the RH collection don't demand higher prices.
