I like that dial (and watch) a lot! Because the dial is lacquered it looks almost like an enamel dial.

As Patek has many different styles and designs that are very appealing and special.
If we are able to attain and enjoy what we desire then we are blessed.

The 5970 is just about perfect. I would also include the 5074 (PC with MR in the 5070 case).

It’s a beautiful watch and historic significance. Patek catalogue is so rich and deep that an argument can be about so many models. Yours are certainly at the top of the conversation. Beautiful.

Yes, with the lemania movement, 5970 in any metal has a vintage feel and a more balanced dial IMO vs the 5270s.

5960P for me, without a doubt 👍🏼 it's simply a very special, useful and beautiful reference
I'm not a huge fan of the 5970. Too busy for me and due to the small movement the subdials move too far into the center imho. For me the 3970 and the first 5270G without tachymeter scale are the winners in this modern PC-Chronograph competition. But hey, this is like always a matter of personal preference!

My favorite at the moment is the
5102 Celestial. Dont have one, hence photo sadly isnt my watch (though it is on my wrist 
).
