Among
Patek Phillipe's limited editions for the
Year 2000 was this rarely seen and talked about
Calatrava ref. 5032J-012 (on this site, it was only mentioned 10 years ago by
small-luxury-world).
Limited to 100 pieces all in yellow gold, it was sold exclusively through the Patek Philippe Salon in Geneva (represented on the solid case back) and constituted the final series of the ref. 5032, which was introduced in 1995.
The main distinctive features of this Millennium version are the applied gold Breguet numeral ‘2’, the triangular indexes and the crown with ruby-set cabochon.
The 36 x 7 mm case was made by Favre-Perret and the watch is powered by automatic calibre 240.
Best, Emmanuel
