Aside from the 5270G-001 being an historically important watch for Patek (the first fully in house movement for a Patek PCC) and being beautiful and an
all around great watch, the 5270G-001 has two features that are very appealing to me: unlike 5970 and its predecessors it has a stop seconds feature; and it has a two tone dial. Not since the first series 3970 (approximately 100 pieces) has there been a two tone dial on a Patek PCC. In both models the registers at 3 and 9 are slightly different in color from the background color of the dial. In summary the 5270G-001 truly was a game changer in many important and very appealing ways. Hope you are enjoying your wonderful watch to the fullest. It is very special!

I also appreciate the hacking seconds as well as the two tone dial. I’ve been able to capture the dial pretty well in some pictures.

Every time I have to set it I go right to the instructions on Pateks website. I can never memorize it 😂

All I remember is the 6AM part! Which is common on many Patek Philippe calendars.
The funny part is that I always put it
closer to 8:00am because 6:00am blocks the moon phase 😂
