Honestly, let’s not over complicate… it’s just a watch, do whatever you like and don’t care about tradition or what others think.
I wasn't asking for myself, as
none of these watches deeply appeal to me (even if I appreciate them) and the Denim aesthetic is too casual for my conservative taste.
I just wanted to know how the community feels about it.

It works well and I fully understand how it makes the 5100 more easy to wear on a daily basis.
Tbh, my conservative taste is taken out of its comfort zone with Denim straps, but I try hard not to be narrow-minded! ;-)

Had the opportunity to try the Nautilus in Denim - didn't hate it
but first thing that came to mind was what other straps I'd use for it.

Well, whereas I like your strap choices because they are very original, subtle and
not trying to look cool at all cost, here I have a hard time feeling fully convinced, whatever the reference.
I feel a bit guilty to be so conservative and closed-minded, but I really get the impression that Patek Philippe is trying to appeal to a younger clientele, and I find the contrast between the luxury of these watches and the deliberately casual look of the bracelet too stark.
Just my feeling of course.

As said, I also do not find all fully gel. And I am conservative in the sense that jeans for me is only trouser material - would never wear a jeans shirt or jacket, so the strap would not be my preferred choice anyhow 😂🤷🏻♂️
