I'm a big fan of these beautiful crown guard cases

Agreed, this little design element made a big impression on me from the start.
I haven’t read anyone ever mention a specific appreciation for it like you, but I’ve regarded it as an elegantly modern reinterpretation of the traditional round case.
What an interesting theme ! The Wempe logo is so subtle but for people in

The Wempe logo doesn't bother me at all. On the contrary. As a long-time customer of Wempe where I bought my first Patek, it fits perfectly.
They all get wrist time. Currently the 5125 a bit more as it is my latest acquisition

Amazing trio and similar to you also love these crown guards, even on dressier pieces. Had a 5127G, which let go (cannot even remember why or what for) and I’m considering going back with a 5107 (which flatter bezels - dream would be a black P, possibly a J) or a 5110….
