My point of view, being not at all a PP expert:
- I don't understand why this is a Calatrava, and not part to a more sporty new family. Calatrava for me is only for very traditional models
- the hobnail case band doesn't really work, it would suit better less sporty model
- the movement, yes simple, is great to look at, and 8 day power reserve is a great thing to have as an owner.

concerns the case band: I like it and, in person, it “worked” very fine for me.
Calatrava is just a name: this watch belongs to the “Complications” family on the PP website.

It is definitely in my wish list and I asked my AD about it. I didn't formally ordered, but I would like to try it on again to check if my feelings are still there 😅
