Jumbo in vintage < Jumbo today
A Golden Ellipse "Jumbo" ref. 3589, is quite perfect on my wrist after all.
However, perhaps "Jumbo" in the 70s is not quite big enough in today's modern world. Not that it affects me at all ;-)

Swapped with a friend. Do not know the name of the dial colour; but looks to be brown. I've only ever seen one other in similar config, but that's on bracelet. Wears wonderful!

...carved numeral examples? I do not see very many like this, and wondered if it was common or tied to a certain year of production.
I can't answer precisely.
