I love my 3800. I had both for about a month or two and I wore 3800 way more so I keep it. For me that first picture of yours is just why I didn’t like it. I like seeing some bracelet when I look down at the watch on my wrist plus there is just a lot of empty space on the dial. If I have to choose between 3800 and 5712 I might go for the latter. Try 5800 you might find it perfect. I have 5065 in my collection so I kind of don’t want two kind of the same size watches.
I found 3800 too small on my wrist,
but of course it depends on the size of one’s wrist and on one’s tastes.
Also because of my personal tastes, I like the “simple” 5711 better than the 5712. But it’s just a personal preference.
But I’m sure your 3800 makes a great duo with your 5065!
