This watch is indeed a fake. Too bad because it could have been a nice watch out of that.
We know that it is a fake because it is not a Patek Philippe.
It doesn't even look like any Patek Philippe.
That may sound a simple answer but on such small pics it is hard to give more explanation.
If I had the watch in hand I could (normally and hopefully) give more insight, on finish, design, .....

..sorry to correct you, but I think you're mistaken.
The movement most likely is a chones copy, of a copy, of..... .-)
The original design was born as Venus, as some other classical column wheel chronos was changed to cam/lever and slightly changed bridges - and than later when Venus was overtaken by Valjoux became the family 7733.
After a lot of machinery was sold to russia it was reborn as Poljot -first the the older version with column wheel the later 7733 versions as well. Today, we see them copied again by some chinese manufacturers. So, perhaps we can say it's been an original Venus design base and a todays chines incarnation....

You're right about the "story" of this calibre. I've in fact already seen some in replicas of chinese military chronographs.
My point was that it was closer to a "traditional" manual wind chrono than to a cam lever one. But you're right it's very certainly a copy of an old Venus, not a Valjoux 72.
My mistake.

Two reasons
1. Patek does not make a model like that, and has not made a model like that as far as I know.
2. The movement is a familiar one found in many fake chronograph watches.
