This one is one of very few pink gold watches in my collection.
What can you tell me about this model and what are your opinions about it, please.
What is the purpose of the screw on the back next to the crown? If for holding the back cover tight I would expect several screws around and closer to the edge of the cover.
Thanks.
One of PP weird experiments.
How does it feel on the wrist
Any pics

The crown is a regular small recessed crown. On the back cover one sees a small screw head about 3 mm in diameter. When this screw is removed one can see another screwhead inside, very small. It is used to free the stem and crown from the case. Once the caseback is openned one can remove the movement. It cannot be removed from the case cover without removing the stem and crown first. So, I got a chance to look at the movement, it is a beauty, cal. 177 very thin 18 jewels.
Movement 137 * * * *, what year of production should that be ??
Thanks.
Please read my previous post. Will post pics. shortly.
I guess Patek Philippe would never design such an odd screw on the back. A big eye-sore --oouch!
Even if it is an original part, why shouldn't it be rose gold as well?

Had you done a little reaserch you'd find out that the screw is original in white gold. I think white gold holds threads better than pink gold and for sure better then yellow gold. There could be another reason why Patek decided to use white gold with a pink gold case. One should not be so quick to jump to conclussions
I had my doubts initially since I had never seen one screw in the case back without clear reason for it. Once I removed it it became clear. I did a search on the Internet and all the examples I found were same as mine.
