It may be that the pictures give a misleading impression, but the face dial on the 5070R often appears to be almost grey. I am not sure any pictures really clarify it for me. Is there anyone who owns one who will give some qualitative comment on the face colour?

I should probably add that I find this one of the most attractive watches. I have not seen one in the flesh, but would very much like to soon. I have seen many opinions on the watch arguing that it is the most aesthetically beautiful of all teh 5070s. I know one guy, I think it was Tim, had all four. Must be wonderful to look at that collection.

dear friend, the dial is silver slightly grey. You must see in person, but I can tell you is really ba beauty.

... but its plays so nicely according to the quality of the light that you can find several tones of grey that goes from light to dark. A REAL STUNNER

What a beautiful collection - I was wondering, what color strap and stitching is that on the 5070 on the far left hand side? It looks like a navy blue strap with grey stitching. Is that correct...? It sets off the watch just beautifully and I was thinking that it may be a nice strap combo for my PP 5056P with its grey dial. Thanks in advance.

...yes, it is the standard strap that the 5070P comes with - sort of a mid-blue with silver-grey stitching. Matches the dial colours very well.

...some rolls of wallpaper made of the pic for the bedroom, but this idea was (unsurprisingly) veto'ed by "The Powers That Be"....!

Its the watch equivalent to a picture of  Pamela Anderson, Scarlet Johansson, Catherine Zeta Jones and Angelina Jolie. Not sure which would be which.

I have to say, it is the most mesmerising picture of watches that I have seen. I am not at all jealous. But I am now quite determined!

Tim, I knew i might get you to re-post those 4! Here's my request; can you take a picture of the 5070P vrs 5070G, and a seperate comparison of the rose and yellow? If you can manage those two, it would be great to see the comparisons. That collection is just awesome.

...although the P is at a different location at present to the G so that one will take a while..
