Can someone give me some information and opinion on these two watches? I am thinking about buying this as a gift for someone, but have not seen one in person as they are discontinued models. What are the differences between the two models and is it a good size in comparison to the twenty-4? Please advise. Thank you in advance.

here's a poor photo of a 'similar' watch..
Thank you for your inputs and the wonderul pictures. I personally prefer the Ellipse over the Twenty-4 because the style is much more classic. I am just concerned that the 23mm size (also taking into consideration the oval shape) would be too small.
i think the ellipse is much more well proportionate to the 24. 24 no doubt is a beautiful piece, but it seems more mass marketed (no offence). It seems like a very sellable design, and more importantly, for the younger generation.
The ellipse which i showed was a piece i bought fo my mum, then 5*. (women hate their age being known). ;p
What drew me to this piece was the mother of pearl dial, which seemed like the sky to me, beautiful. Furthermore, the bracelet was pure craftsmanship. It is made/moulded by a master watchmaker, totally beautiful and unique. You'd be blown away if u manage to inspect it in person. Even the crown has a diamond set in it. Pure spectacular.
The ellipse seems much smaller than the 24, but i can be sure when wearing it, the 'feeling' would totally different. Maybe because my mum is rather petit, thus a small wrist, it sees perfect on her.
24 is a beautiful watch, well proportionate, well designed, but the ellipse has one extra thing 24 dosen't have, a SOUL.
