I was just browsing the forum this morning and I saw some photos of an aquanaut dual time zone - probably one of the ideal summer casual companions.
In my typical week end walk downtown I saw in the display window of my local Patek boutique two aquanauts.
As these are not very often in stock and fresh from the forum inspiration I decided to go inside and have a look. As soon as I arrived I was told that after months the Nautilus I always wanted (there is a very big waiting list for all nautilus in steel - less long for the white dial which I love and wanted) was waiting for me !
So here are some photos of my third Patek (joining a 5127 and a the golden ellipse 3738/100G-012) that joins me just in time for the summer !
The Nautilus has always been my favourite Patek ever but it is simply very difficult to find (the traditional in steel, complicated
Nautilus seems more available here). This said I am glad that I didn't get one before as I really love the white dial. I have seen previous post and I understand that is not as loved as the traditional blue dial one but the white is so much more special to me.
When I joined the waiting list for the this Nautilus 5711/1A-011 I could also try the 5712G-001 but I can now see the point of steel for a sporty/water watch. I am in love this classic one but pretty much each nautilus has something special. The 5712G-001 was also very nice but I tend to prefer white/silvered dials and obviously there is also a price difference
The Nautilus 5711/1A-011 feels very comfortable and light on the wrist. It is the most comfortable steel bracelet I have ever tried. I know that there are already plenty of other photos of this Nautilus in the forum but I hope that you would not mind seeing some more from one of the few owners that prefers a white to a blue Nautilus
What do you think of the Nautilus 5711/1A-011? What do you like/dislike about it ? If you are a Nautilus or Aquanaut owner don't be shy and share some photos of your favourite summer companion !
