Its Blue Grey dial...

The nuance is highlmy captivating.

In white, the magic goes away, a bit.

But the most important is your conviction on this Watch!

Congratulations.

Here is a picture of my Ex 5712:

for everyone ! I think the Patek production reflects this. I think the White will still have a nice of people that like it more. I find it very special at the sun. It is probably the special patterns of the dial that makes it look so unique!

Agreed, blue is the color for Nautilus...

White do look a bit "flat" and surgical even but it is refreshingly nice as well... This is on my mrs wrist, she loves white, being a doctor, this suit her profession and matches her her white 458 Italia too..

HAGWE.. Cheers! ... James

Thats great choice and i am also thinking about white dial Nau.
I think that white dial would match fantastically with white crispy formal shirt and dark grey or navy blue suit.
Could you please make a such foto? With white shirt?
Thanks a lot and enjoy your new beauty!

The indices really pop on the white dial and it gives a younger and more refreshing look IMO. Perfect for summer wear.

The steel Nautilus is the most comfortable, refined and most sophisticated SS watch bar none IMO.

I would have a hard time deciding between the blue or white dial  version but neither is a bad choice. smile

To read about a member who for years has waited to get a certain piece has then finally achieved their goal.

Was your visit to the boutique pre-planned or did you not know that your Patek awaited you?

In which case was a lovely surprise. smile

pure chance !

It was pure chance as I had almost forgotten about my nautilus waiting list. I just went in to see and try some of the aquanauts that were on display (for example the rose gold that seems to have an higher availability than other aquanauts!) and then I was told that my Nautilus was there. When I saw it with my name on it I had to get it ! biggrin

A very refreshing offer

Very nice catch Christian and huge congratulations!

I own a blue dial 5712 and I LOVE it.

But, as I love Nautiluses, I was closely looking at the white dial 5711 + 5726.

The contrast between the colors (indexes vs dial) makes it more "punchy" but it is still a very appealing watch.

You've made a great choice as I wouldn't rank the blue vs white in a way or another. They are just different but both very attracting.

Don't hesitate to share many more pics in the future wink

Cheers,

Mark

What ever the metal or color is, as long as you love it nothing else matters.

Mine say hallo and welcome to the nautilus club.

the Blue is an all time favourite the 5711/1A-010 being very hard to get. White is less in demand but I think that production takes that into account too so it was a few months wait anyway. It is good to have options and I am very happy that they decided to made a white one too ! It is very legible and I truly love the white dials - I have a 5127G (it was my first patek) and the dial is just so classic but I am left wondering if it is as white as the one of the 5711/1A-011. The movement is the same one which has pretty much all I need (time and date).
Perhaps the fact that is difficult to get makes it more magic ! (it seems  to be the same with some Hermes bags, this is certainly a good marketing strategy!).

Simply...

Stunning. Any time a classic changes, there will always be people who disapprove. In my opinion, the white Nautilus is unexpected and beautiful, truly the ‘daring version’ of an icon. For those highlighting the nuances of the blue dial (which are really nice too), I’d recommend giving a more tolerant look to the white model in person: the dial navigates from plain white to silvery shades and lots of ivory. It is breathtaking…

couldn't agree more .. white is...

truly special under the sun. I have some experience with more exotic patek dials like the one of the golden ellipse and, while it is stunning too, the white has such a fantastic legibility and candor that makes it truly special. I am pretty happy that is not for everyone else it would be even harder to find smile

I did try the 5712G too and, even if the patek grey dials are very special, I find the white better for summer/sun etc.

This said I think that the Nautilus is such a special and magic watch what every model will have an audience. Great that Patek had the boldness to try something new !

gorgeous in blue too !! ..

 By: christianch : July 9th, 2013-20:05
Truly gorgeous - thank you for the nice photos. I absolutely think the "simple" nautilus time only is among the most iconic and versatile watches made by patek.  To me it is a true pleasure to wear on a daily basis ..scratches aside (but I guess this is part of making the watch part of your own history!)  I own other similar watches like an AP Royal Oak Day-date gold and I think the nautilus style + size and fit beats it by far !
