I do not own a PP as yet. However, I have two VC's. One I inherited when I was 26. And the second I bought myself when I was 34. I am 36 now. I still have them both and I love them both, and I believe they represent the pinnacle of horology, both in their own way, and no less than PP in any way.
I have a few PP's on my wish-list and I hope I can fulfill my PP dream as well.
I do not think it matters how old one is when they got their first PP etc. Also, every brand and product has its own prejudices about whether it is for old people or young people. What is important is how your own values and how they are expressed, and if your material belongings can be a positive part of that.
