Sorry for the delay, my family and me made a little trip to follow the sun...
I compared the dials of the regular 5074P and the dial of 5073P and the difference was a black on 5074 that was a little mate and greyish. The 5073 is deep black shiny and with the baguettes simply stunning. And I like indexes more than arabic numerals anyway. Just take a look at the predecessor 3974...mindblowing, maybe a little too small for today (42mm or 40mm are perfect to me). So what could be the next step to get a little closer to 3974? Of course dauphin hands!!!
I had the occasion to ask Thierry for the dauphine hands on an event, but he said "sorry, not possible. To make the tools for the hands it would take 120K!"
I suppose it was a very polite way to say no But I am very happy and I adore and love Patek more than any other brand in the world!
