I have to say 5980R but that's not necessarily my favorite choice, I LOVE the 5726 1/a. It's one of the best in the AC line. All around the 5712 1/a is the most classic and elegant. I a.so think it will stand the test of time. The blue on the dialmis one of the best dials I have come across. Issue is in your collection the 5712 approximates your RO Dual Time and the 5146 competes with the 5726. Funny enough I have owned a version of all the watches in question. I gave up my 5146 for a 5726 (with some change left over ;-)) and I gave up my RO Dual Time for a 5712. I had a 5980 1/a but found it uncomfortable and traded it for a RO PC (that was a mistake). There are no bad choices here...only choices. All awesome pieces.
Help deciding - 5980R, 5726 1A, 5712 1A
Trying to decide between these three Nautilus models and wanted to ask the opinion of the forum. There is no big gap in my current collection, so this is not expected to fill any particular need 
My criteria is that the watch needs to be a good collectible, highly desirable in the marketplace, and one that can hold its charm/value over time. Something that can be worn and not just stored in a vault. The 5980R is definitely more formal and dressier than the other two and I loved the gold/brown combo. The 5726 was very clean. The blue on the 5712 is gorgeous.

5980R for sure!
Not a fan of the other 2 so for me easy decision. The 5980R is a great casual watch and can be dressed up as well. Versatile and amazing and for me nothing beats Patek

you already have something more classic/conservativ, something casual and therefore 5980R gets my vote to add some spice.
